When you post a quest with a coin reward, two things happen:

  1. The reward amount locks in escrow — it leaves your balance but isn't given to anyone yet
  2. A 10% platform fee locks alongside it — this supports the platform and community rewards

Example: You post a quest with a 100 FC reward. Your balance is deducted 110 FC (100 reward + 10 fee). When you approve the work, the worker receives 100 FC. The 10 FC fee is retained by the platform.
